About the Program

Join a unique field research experience in Argentina’s Patagonia, focused on the ecology and conservation of Magellanic Penguins. This course combines scientific investigation with hands-on practice, empowering students to contribute to wildlife conservation while gaining valuable academic and professional experience.

Objectives

  • Observe and analyze the behavior of Magellanic Penguins during the breeding and chick-hatching season.

  • Record vocalizations and evaluate their role in reproductive behavior and chick care.

  • Understand predator-prey dynamics within penguin colonies.

  • Apply field research methodologies and develop skills for scientific publication.

Partners

This program is developed in collaboration with Brazilian research institutions such as CRAS USU (Santa Úrsula University), a recognized center for marine animal rehabilitation and wildlife conservation.
